Product Description Alcohol Cleaner is an essential part of the preparation process, and should be used just before any repair or colour work is started. If you are undertaking a restoration project you should use the Leather Prep first, then the Alcohol Cleaner. The Alcohol Cleaner essentially removes any silicones which may have been present as feel modifiers in the original finish. These silicones may not be soluble in the Leather Prep, so it is important to use the Alcohol Cleaner to ensure the repair products adhere properly.
