Description VIRLIX 10MG TABLET Indications / Uses Relief of nasal & ocular symptoms of seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis; symptoms of urticaria. Dosage / Direction for Use Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mg (20 drops or 10 mL oral soln or 1 tab) once daily. Administration May be taken with or without food: FC tab: Swallow w/ a glass of liqd. Oral soln: Swallow as such. Oral drops: Dilute in liqd. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <10 mL/min). Special Precautions Concomitant use w/ alcohol. Increased risk of urinary retention. Epileptic patients & those at risk of convulsions. Wash-out period of 3 days before allergy skin test. Decreased rate of absorption w/ food. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Tab: Rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency. Childn <6 yr. Tab & soln: Glucose-galactose malabsorption. Soln: Rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency. Soln & drops: Allergic reactions may occur due to methyl- & propyl p-hydroxybenzoate. This product requires no prescription.
