Description Buy Ricam 10 mg Tablet at Rose Pharmacy Delivery Indications / Uses Tab: Prophylactic & symptomatic treatment of perennial & seasonal allergic reactions, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis due to inhaled allergens. Syr: Symptomatic treatment of seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis & urticaria of allergic origin. Dosage / Direction for Use Adult & adolescent 5-10 mg once a day. Max: 10 mg once a day. Children ?6 yr 5 or 10 mg once a day, 2-6 yr 2.5 mg once a day. Max: 5 mg given as 5 mg once a day or 2.5 mg 12 hrly. Administration May be taken with or without food. Contraindications Pregnancy & lactation. Tab: Hepatic & renal function impairment. Bladder neck obstruction, prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention & glaucoma. Newborn & premature infants. Childn ? 6 yr w/ renal or hepatic dysfunction. Syr: Hypersensitivity to hydroxyzine or to any piperazine derivatives. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <10 mL/min). Rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Special Precautions Tab: Sensitivity to other antihistamines. Elderly.
